Bizarrely, despite months of being a night owl in the bar, Katya has almost resumed a 'normal' human sleep cycle. Still, she wakes up in the early morning hours most days before the sun has bothered to show up, and spends the hours watching the sleepy peaceful world through the window.
One of those mornings, she feels that with a new world, and a new (and possibly, scarily Watchless) reality, she needs... a little more newness.
One hopes that Skellig isn't too easily spooked.

(There are also a few not-Russian-but-equally-delicious things thrown in for good measure.)
They even get a discount on their purchase, as an 'engagement present' from the manager. Katya pays with a handful of leaves that are suddenly bills when they make contact with the cashier's fingertips. Skellig gathers up the reusable bags into his arms, and looks at her.
"I think," he says. "I would like to stay in the city. Tonight."
There must be a suitable hotel room, right? One with a very large and comfortable real bed, and perhaps a bathtub - while she was able to wash off in the ocean, his cleaning-up has been relegated to water warmed in the giant cookpot and rags.
(And what she's managed to help with, as her strength has returned.)

"Da!" Her excitement is entirely unfeigned, and entirely misunderstood by the people around her, who promptly flood them with ideas. Before too long their bags are being shipped for them to a nearby hotel that will fit the bill, by the grandson of the owner, who is quite taken with this whole story.

They say their goodbyes and their thanks, and as they exit the market, Skellig stops to kiss her properly in the doorway.
For appearances sake, of course - it wouldn't do to disappoint their new friends.
