Once upon a time (that is how these stories begin, no?) there was a little girl who lived in Moscow. She wasn't anything special, really. She liked dogs, and sparkly things, and taking care of her stuffed bear. She didn't care much about the world, other than the normal things like school and her family and the rare trip to the Zoological Park.

She liked the tigers on Animal Island.

Then, on a freezing winter afternoon, she entered the Twilight for the first time. She was seven. She was Other.

Tiger Cub is a vivacious young (looking) woman, fond of sparkles and bangles and a good hard fight. She is a member of the Moscow Night Watch, an agency you've probably never heard of and probably never will. She has been in training for the Night Watch since she was discovered at seven years old, and she was participating in field missions by thirteen. Not too bad, considering battle magic and shape-shifting isn't her natural magic, but the result of hard study and practice.
